Awesome. I'm going to try to put my review under spoilers so I can write freely.
I think this is a really cool concept for a fangame. It plays off the idea that Angel, and Angel's artwork as a proxy, have this inimitable quality to them that attracts a certain type of reclusive, lonely, maladjusted person. It happened to Lee. It happens to Jay. And then it enables Ley to take advantage of that person.
Ley is a fun character. There should be more deranged they/thems
Your art is always a delight, of course. I find it very stylistically appealing.
And I think you did an amazing job with the sound design. Both the music and the ambient sounds you chose were perfect for the game's mood. I was impressed.
I have a few questions, such as why are there so many textiles described as "wet." But that is the thrill of the mystery genre.
It's an honor to have a visual novel made that plays off my visual novel. I'm happy the ideas from something I made could give you ideas to create something new and original and unique yourself. I felt touched going through it. Thank you.
Thankyou so much for playing and leaving this great review, i'm glad to read it. Hopefully as I improve my story telling the common questions and confusions can become clearer, though i'm glad the overall concept can be understood. I appreciate it
Whoa… I really liked your game but I didn’t understand it. I thought Jay was Lee so I was like :O when Lee and Angel showed up I liked how Ley was scary and I liked the plot It wasn’t what I Was expecting and very cool!
Thankyou so much for playing, and reviewing! The confusion with Jay and Lee is funny
I love when two maladjusted people who are desperate for connection find eachother. This is a sweet little game and I enjoyed every bit of it and the art. I really love Ley and Jay.
Thankyou so much for playing, and liking it! : )
Pretty good game!
However, I would like to see more story and context.
But I love the art and character designs, as well as the directions the characters take. Overall, it's a great effort throughout! I hope to see more in the future!
Thankyou so much for the feedback and playing! I learnt a lot, and hope I can continue improving with more projects in the future
